Kinds of Sentences

There are four Kinds of Sentences:

1. Assertive Sentence (in other words Simple Sentence, Informative Sentence and Statement Sentence)
1. A simple statement can be called an Assertive Sentence.

2. Interrogative Sentence (in other words Question Sentence)
1. The sentence that are used to ask questions are called interrogative sentence.

3. Imperative Sentence
1. The sentence which express order, command, request, advice and suggestion are called imperative sentence.

4. Exclamatory Sentence
1. The sentence which express some strong feeling or emotion such as sorrow, joy, surprise, wonder, contempt, etc. are called Exclamatory Sentence.
